Special Soil for Orchids

Use The Plantella Special Soil for Orchids, a high-quality soil with special nutrient composition, appropriate for all orchids. For luscious flowering, yield formation, healthy growth and development transplant the citrus plants every year or every time the pot becomes too small or if the substratum becomes too thick.

The best time to transplant is right after blossoming or before a new growth period. Put the plant in a 2 to 3 cm higher pot. After transplanting add the substratum around the plant, press down lightly and shake gently. Water well to ensure proper moisture. For the first week place the plant in an area with good lighting, but not exposed too much to direct sunlight. Orchids require high air moisture so spray the plants occasionally with water, lightly. 

Additional fertilizing: During the vegetation period water/irrigate (put in a bucket of water and let the plant absorb the water directly through the roots) regularly – every 10 days. For healthy growth use the Plantella Tabs fertilizer for orchids in form of special effervescent tablets with every watering/irrigation. In the winter decrease the watering amount and irrigate the orchids only once a month in clear water.
